One Month

All I can say is wow, what an amazing month I have had. Molly is incredible. I am so in love with her. Time seems to fly by and I am making sure to enjoy every minute of it. Molly is growing so extremly fast. As of 1 month here are some of her developments:

Still eats every 2 to three hours
Weighs ten pounds with a bow in her hair
Is 21 1/2 in tall
sleeps in in 4 to 5 hour streachs at night
Loves to lay under her activity mat
Favorite play partner is her big brother Cooper (our 6 month old westie)
Likes to be rocked
Holds up her head a lot even though its not real steady
Reacts to my voice alot
Can fixate on objects
Likes to be held
Is very strong
Only likes her paci sometimes and when she doesn't want it she really doesn;t want it
Likes to ride in the car
Loves to ride in her stroller

I am loving getting to be at home with her and taking it all in. Molly has already gotten to take a trip to Houston for Thanksgiving. Its alot harder traveling with a newborn but we had a wonderful time with the family. For Christmas we will be in Oklahoma City and are excited to see alot of friends we have not seen in along time. We are so excited about this Christmas with Molly and getting to buy her gifts!!! Here are a few pictures of Molly's first month.

Oh Golly Miss Molly!!!

WOW, Words can not even begin to describe how I feel. I know most of you out there can relate to being a new mom but you can't ever understand that love until you experience it yourself. I have been so blessed. Molly Brooke was born October 28th at 4:52 pm. I went in at 6 am to be induced. To be honest I was so completely scared. I was overwhelmed and cried all the way up the elevator. We got to the labor and delivery room and I had to fill out paper work and didn't get the pitocin started till 7:20. The contractions started immediately and hurt pretty bad. I was already 4 cm so I was able to get my epidural. It took 45 minutes for me to get the meds, there were 15 women delivering that day. The epidural was no big deal. It did not hurt at all. Once I had my epi I felt much better but not for long. The epi only worked on my right side, so I could feel a lot of pain still on my left side. They topped off my epi which made me feel good for about 2 hours and then wore off. 11:30 was when I got my epi and by 2:30 I was 9 cm. It happened so fast. At 3:00 they had me push once and I was at 10 cm. I soon felt the need to push. The doctor had me wait 30 minutes. 50 Minutes later Molly Brooke arrived. I will tell you it was the hardest most rewarding experience of my life. I could absolutely everything and really wanted to give up but I had amazing support. I am very blessed that labor was not long. I realized how lucky I was when the next afternoon Jeremy told me the girl that had come in at the same time as me for an induction was just then getting into the postpartum room. I started crying cause I felt so bad for her having to be in labor that long. So, Thank God for a short labor and that Molly is healthy and beautiful. We are very much in love. Molly is a great baby. She is eats and sleeps well!!! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts a prayers!

Some of the gifts we have gotten and the nursery!

This adorable outfit is one that Kailee (Jeremy's Sis) bought for Molly. It is so cute, I love it.

This is the gown that we will take Molly home in. Jeremy's Mom let me pick it out this weekend. It is very glamorous!

It's always nice having one of the special Aunt's that like to spoil you rotten. This is what I got from my Uncle Glenn, Aunt Marla, Whitney, Jared, Travis, Cassie and Connor!!!! I Love it. Juicy Couture is a fav of mine and Molly will look so cute riding around in it! This is the Nursery, Thanks to my wonderful father who has put the whole Nursery together! Its great having a dad that can do everything. He is my very own Macgyver and I don't know what I would do without him.

I will post some more pictures there are just too many cute things to show!

I am a stay at home mom to be!!!!!

I have so much to catch up on! Thursday was my last day to work and I could not be more relieved. It is so nice not to have to worry about going to work and being able to focus on Lil' Miss Molly. Now to back up a bit and tell you whats been going on our world. Two weeks ago we had our shower here in Fort Worth. It was wonderful. Jeremy and I have been so blessed thru our church. The young marrieds at Legacy and just taken us in and we could not be happier. The shower was beautiful and I got a lot of wonderful things for Molly. This past weekend we went to Oklahoma for a shower there and again had an amazing shower. Molly is already so spollied and you will see by the pictures below. Molly's Aunt Kailee bought her everything single toy and book on the registry along with a beautiful gown. I also got to go shopping saturday at some great baby stores in OKC. Jeremy's mom was great and let me pick out some amazing things that Jeremy would never let me buy. This coming weekend we are going to Houston for our last shower. It is always good to get to go home for a little while.

I am 32 days away from my due date and am oh so ready. I had one night that I woke up in major pain. I thought it was it but of course waited to see if the contraction continued. I had major cramping in my lower abdomen and back. It started out very strong and but 45 minutes later I was fine. I think I was just dehydrated. I have been drinking lots of water and have been fine ever since.

Doctor's Appointment

Today I went for my 6 month appointment. I had to drink this nasty sugar stuff to check my glucose levels. I drank half of it then started gagging it up. I don't have the results yet but if the don't call that is good news. Molly was kicking like crazy and made it hard to find her heartbeat. We finally found it and it was normal. My blood pressure was high and this is the second time I have had high blood pressure. The doctor doesn't seem to concerned but wants me to continue and check before my next visits. I am really starting the feel the weight gain. I have only gained 9lbs but it feels like a lot. Jeremy and I are going to get the new puppy this weekend. I am definitely excited but I am nervous about all the potty training. I have a feeling I am going to have a few sleepless night before Molly gets here.

So Caught!!!

Ever since I found out we were having a girl I could not wait to start shopping. Now this is not just my favorite past time, its a true addiction. I am so good at this addiction I have an amazing way of getting other people to do it. Actually I make quite a bit of money getting other people to spend theirs....any one want to come shop at White House Black Market? No really, I love shopping but what I love even more is shopping for Molly. I totally had been getting away with it because we have bank accounts at two different banks and I never had my direct deposit changed to the new bank. Jeremy stopped looking at our old bank account and just paid everything with our new bank account. This is no good. It left all my pay check for me to use at my discretion. Now this was fine for about two months until Jeremy too a peak at the old account.....uh oh. I wasn't home so When I got home the nursery door was open and so was the closet and all the drawers to the furniture. I had hidden the precious items I had bought in different drawers thinking he would never open them. He did! I no longer have my own bank account. I was told I lost my privileges. I wont say how much money we are talking about but even I was ashamed of myself.

My 1st Baby

Sadie Mae Stevens is our first child. Sadie is a West Highland Terrier, and the cutest most adorable dog in the whole wide world. I can say I definitely treat the dog better then I treat Jeremy. Sadie loves to be dressed up and gets excited to get new outfits. She loves me unconditionally and I do her. I figured I should probably devote a post to her before the new additions arrive. Sadie will be getting a baby brother on the 13th. He is a two month old Westie that Jeremy got me for my birthday. Molly then arrives in October, so I figure I better give Sadie Mae her post while I have time.

The beginnings of the nursery!!

This is the idea that I am going for!!! I am not sure about the cherubs though.

Just a few thing I have bought for Miss Molly!
