Need to blog!!!

I am really bad about blogging. I am not much of a writer...who are we kidding. I am not a writer at all. If it wasn't for my wonderful friend Kristina I would not of made it through college. Anyway, I am going to try and do better. So I will be posting a lot in the next couple of days. I really want to be better at blogging in order to remember Molly's first year. So, here we go another commitment to blog more!

Hitting the Campaign Trail....

So, in what seems to be another life, Jeremy helped in a State Congressional campaign while in college. This is defiantly where Jeremy's heart is. I know he misses it a lot and would love to be back in that "world". Well, Rep. Ken Miller is now running for State Treasurer and we had the opportunity to go up to Duncan, OK for Stephens County Fish Fry. It was a lot of fun and Molly had a great time. Here is Molly with Ken in her own Ken Miller T-Shirt.

Molly's 6 months stats

We changed doctors for Molly and it was a great decision. I love our new doctor. She is caring and listens, I could not ask for a better doctor. Molly is 17lbs which is the 66% and she is 26.5 which is 68%. Here are Molly's latest accomplishments:

Sits by herslef

Scoots everywhere

Rocks back and forth on her hands and knees

Eats baby food three times a day

Says dadadada and talks all the time

Has now fallen off the changing table...thankyou Dadadada

Loves to be sung to (Frog Song)

Her hair is coming back

Will play by herself for a little while

Loves to read

Still loves her puppies

Molly is getting such a personality. She is very loving and such a daredevil (like her momma). She likes to be flipped and dropped down your legs.

Holding back the tears..

Molly turned 6 months old yesterday and I thought that I would wait and write this post today because I didn't want to sit here and cry. Well, guess what I'm crying. As I sat here and nursed her to sleep tonight I close my eyes and see the most beautiful gift I have ever been given. I see the sweetest and most adorable baby girl that I just can't get enough of. I go to sleep dreaming of her and wake up and all my dreams have come true. She is more than I could of ever imagined and I see the Glory of are Father in her. She is my Molly B and I will lover with everything I am. What a wonderful God we have to give us such precious gifts!

5 Months

So, I am not very good at this whole blog thing, but I will kepp trying. Molly B is 5 months and I am at a loss for words. My life is more fullfilling everyday because of her. I love every waking minute with her and when I say waking that means at 3 am, 5 am, and 7am, which just happens to being her eating schedule right not. Molly has decided to stop sleeping. She does not nap during the day except for maybe 30 minutes. I am trying so hard to get her on a schedule but she seems to have a mind of her own. Here is what Molly has been up to:

Rolls over
Laughs
Babbles alot
Still loves her bath
Still nursing but eats some rice cereal
Loves going for walks
Responds to Jeremy on the phone
Absolutly loves her puppies
Sitting up with little support
Wearing 6 to 9 months clothes
Size 3 diaper
Likes to do tricks
I am sure I have forgotten something but there you go.

12 Weeks

I just cannot believe Molly B is 12 weeks old today. Molly is getting such a personality. She talks to us and smiles a lot. She is such a good baby. We have traveled quite a bit and she just goes with the flow. I'm having so much fun being a mom. I love staying home and getting to do things I love. From cooking to scrapbooking to starting a new business; I love it all. The best part of all I can do it all from my PJs with my Molly B. The rest of this month we are getting ready for Jeremy's b-day and and Valentines Party for our Small Group!!! I will post more pics later!

Much Love,
Britt

Jamaica with this bod....

I think not. My wonderful husband has just informed me that he earned a trip to Jamaica to stay at the Ritz Carlton! My first reaction was I can't leave Molly that young, I don't have enough milk saved, I am keeping baby Lauren and I don't want to be in a bathing suit. So, lots of things have to fall in place. I have to get Molly on a schedule, I have to be able to store more breast milk, and I have to loose about 20 lbs. I really want to go and have a good time but if everything doesn't fall into place I am afraid I will be stressed every minute of the vacation. So, If you are a mom and have any suggestions leaving my baby for the first time or loosing the last bit of baby weight and then some. Let me know!
Much Love

Tired Tuesday!

Ever since the holidays, Molly B has not been sleeping very well. Now, normally its not that big a deal cause Jeremy is here in will take care of her and the dogs while I get a nap, but this week Jeremy is "out of town". This is where Jeremy is

That's right the Gaylord Texan for a business meeting all week, but seriously he is only 20 minutes away. While, I am staying up all night and getting up early with the precocious pups, my husband is living it up at this resort. Good thing he pays all the bills!!!
Much Love,
Britt

I still love my dogs!

Sadie Mae

Cooper Keith

Everyone has told me that my dogs will not be near as important to me when I have a baby. Well, of course Molly is most important person in my life but I still love my dogs. So, I have felt like I neglected them some, so today I decided I would make them homemade dog treats. So, I am back in my doggies good graces. They love them. The recipe is incredibly easy so I will post it in case anyone would like to try it.

2 tablespoons of corn oil
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1 cup of water
1 cup of whole wheat flour
2 cups of flour
Preheat oven to 350. Combine oil, water, and peanut butter then add flour gradually. Roll dough into 1/4 in sheet and then use a cookie cutter to cut them. Bake on 350 for 20 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.

This year......

I want to stick to my New Years Resolutions. In order to do this I am going to post what they are, everyone of them. The reason being for this is I just have never seemed to have the will power to follow through with the resolutions I make . Now, that Molly is here it is more important to me that I follow through with decisions I make no matter how small or big they might be. So here we go:
Read my Bible everyday
Pray more
Praise my husband more
Read everyday to Molly
Get Molly on a schedule
Exercise everyday
Cook more new recipes
Walk the dogs everyday
Get my teaching certificate
Start a new business (more to come on that one)!
Get back to my college size!!!
Organize my house
Send Cards on time
Be more encouraging to others
Be Joyful
Be content
With all those being said, 2009 was an amazing year. We brought are wonderful baby girl into the world. Joined a wonderful church and a great small group. New friendships have been found and old ones have been restored. Our family's are happy and for the most part healthy. Praise God for the life I have been given and pray for the wonderful life ahead.

Love and Blessings to all!
Britt
