WOW, Words can not even begin to describe how I feel. I know most of you out there can relate to being a new mom but you can't ever understand that love until you experience it yourself. I have been so blessed. Molly Brooke was born October 28th at 4:52 pm. I went in at 6 am to be induced. To be honest I was so completely scared. I was overwhelmed and cried all the way up the elevator. We got to the labor and delivery room and I had to fill out paper work and didn't get the pitocin started till 7:20. The contractions started immediately and hurt pretty bad. I was already 4 cm so I was able to get my epidural. It took 45 minutes for me to get the meds, there were 15 women delivering that day. The epidural was no big deal. It did not hurt at all. Once I had my epi I felt much better but not for long. The epi only worked on my right side, so I could feel a lot of pain still on my left side. They topped off my epi which made me feel good for about 2 hours and then wore off. 11:30 was when I got my epi and by 2:30 I was 9 cm. It happened so fast. At 3:00 they had me push once and I was at 10 cm. I soon felt the need to push. The doctor had me wait 30 minutes. 50 Minutes later Molly Brooke arrived. I will tell you it was the hardest most rewarding experience of my life. I could absolutely everything and really wanted to give up but I had amazing support. I am very blessed that labor was not long. I realized how lucky I was when the next afternoon Jeremy told me the girl that had come in at the same time as me for an induction was just then getting into the postpartum room. I started crying cause I felt so bad for her having to be in labor that long. So, Thank God for a short labor and that Molly is healthy and beautiful. We are very much in love. Molly is a great baby. She is eats and sleeps well!!! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts a prayers!
